1. Who We Are

Wexly Inc. ("Wexly," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Wexly AI SMS booking platform at getwexly.com. We are the data controller for information collected through our service.

2c. Customer data (your customers)

When your customers text your Wexly number, we collect their phone numbers and conversation history. This data belongs to you. We process it solely to provide the service and never use it for our own marketing.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Wexly service
To power the AI assistant with your business information
To send appointment reminders and follow-ups on your behalf
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send you service updates and account notifications
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Ever.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate Wexly:

Supabase — database hosting and authentication
Stripe — payment processing
Twilio — SMS delivery
Anthropic — AI responses (Claude API)
Render — server hosting

All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us. We do not share data with any other third parties except as required by law.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active
Conversation history is retained for 12 months then automatically deleted
Appointment data is retained for 24 months
After account cancellation, we delete all data within 90 days
You can request immediate deletion at any time (see Section 7)

6. Data Security

We take security seriously:

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)
Database access is restricted by row-level security policies
We use Supabase's enterprise-grade infrastructure

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correction — update or correct inaccurate data
Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
Portability — receive your data in a portable format
Objection — object to certain types of data processing

8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies — only what's necessary to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that share your data.

9. Children's Privacy

Wexly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure of what personal information we collect, use, and share by contacting us at privacy@getwexly.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Wexly after changes constitutes acceptance.
