Wexly is an AI-powered SMS booking platform for businesses. This page documents how end users (customers of businesses using Wexly) consent to receive text messages and how those messages are managed.
End users always initiate contact first. No messages are ever sent to users who have not first texted the business's Wexly number. The opt-in flow is:

The end user initiates the conversation by texting the business's Wexly number. This is an end-user-initiated opt-in. Common first messages include:
The Wexly AI assistant responds with information directly related to the end user's request โ appointment availability, pricing, hours, etc. All subsequent messages (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups) are directly related to the end user's original request or their ongoing appointment relationship with the business.

Every Wexly business gets a public booking page at getwexly.com/book/[slug] with the "Text us to book" CTA button that links to SMS.
Wexly provides printable signage templates with the SMS number, QR code, and required disclosures. Displayed at front desk, window, waiting area, and menus.
Businesses can embed a Wexly booking widget on their website that includes the SMS number and all required disclosures.
Once opted in, end users may receive:
Message frequency varies based on user interaction. Typical: 2โ5 messages per appointment. No more than 10 automated messages per month outside of active conversations.
End users can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receiving STOP:
